Dorset Council recently received directions from the Tasmanian Planning Commission in accordance with Section 35K(1)(a) of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993, relating to the Council's Draft Local Provisions Schedule.
As per section 51(3AB) of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act, the Council has commenced operation of the Local Provisions Schedule and State Planning Provisions in effect from Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
All planning applications lodged on or after this date will be assessed against the provisions of the Tasmanian Planning Scheme.
